CKZZ-FM

Virigin 95.3FM ( CKZZ -FM) is a Canadian radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is transmitted on 95.3 MHz with a power of 71,300 watts from Mount Seymour. The transmitter supplies the larger environment of Vancouver. The studios of the station are located in Richmond. The transmission format corresponds to the adult contemporary style.

History

The Canadian Radio- television and Telecommunications Commission and ( CRTC ) wrote the 95.3FM frequency from in the greater Vancouver region. The station began broadcasting on 23 May 1991 at 8 clock in the morning and ran without commercial breaks is 27 May 1991. 1995 transmitter ( CKZZ ) and ( CISL ) were sold to Standard Radio. The competent authority has approved the $ 18 million deal.
