Clare-Hope Ashitey

Claire -Hope Ashitey (born 12 February 1987 in Enfield, Middlesex, England) is a British actress.

Ashitey began at the age of 12 years with professional acting classes at the Centre Stage School of Performing Arts in London. Parallel to this, she completed an undergraduate course in French and German history.

Her first movie role at age 18 along with John Hurt and Hugh Dancy in Shooting Dogs. Despite this success, the film, she continued to pursue her plans to study at a university anthropology and law. She currently lives with her ​​parents and siblings in London.

For her portrayal of a young mother in the Austrian film Black Brown White, who tries to get together with her child illegally from Africa to Europe, she received a nomination in 2012 for the Austrian Film Awards.
