Clark Clifford

Clark McAdams Clifford ( born December 25, 1906 in Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kansas, † October 10, 1998 in Bethesda, Maryland) was an American jurist who served the U.S. Presidents Truman, Kennedy, Johnson and Carter and Defense the United States under Johnson, and legal advisor to the White House Truman was.

Clifford was on February 29, 1968 to January 20, 1969 Secretary of Defense. He kept mainly in the strategy of his predecessor Robert McNamara in Vietnam. His final resting place is at Arlington National Cemetery.
