Clarke Medal

The Clarke Medal is awarded by the Royal Society of New South Wales (Australia) for outstanding achievements in the natural sciences.

The award is named after the geologist William Branwhite Clarke (1798-1878), one of the founders of the company.

The medal is now awarded irrespective of the nationality of the researcher conducted annually in Australia work in the fields of geology, botany and zoology, each of the disciplines will be considered every three years.
