Claudia Testoni

Claudia Testoni ( born December 19, 1915 in Bologna, † July 17, 1998 in Cagliari) was an Italian athlete and European Champion in the 80 -meter hurdles.

At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin Claudia Testoni won twice the fourth. About 80 m hurdles, there was a very close finish in which the first four runners were all stopped at 11.7. However, the target image camera even showed to thousandths of a second. After this evaluation, the Italian Trebisonda Valla won in 11.748 before the German Anni control in 11.809 ( silver) and the Canadian Elizabeth Taylor Campbell in 11,811 ( bronze), Claudia Testoni 11.818 were specified. In the 4 x 100 - meter relay Valla and Testoni were then together in the relay, which finished fourth.

At the European Championships 1938 in Vienna Claudia Testoni won the hurdles in a world record time of 11.6 before the Germans Lisa Gelius in 11.7.
