Clement Juglar

Joseph Clément Juglar (* 1819 in Paris, † February 28, 1905 ) was a French physician and economic researchers.

Juglar went out of regular business cycles were repeated within a time frame. Juglar himself went from a cycle of six to ten or seven to eleven years. In the more recent economic research, the exact length amplitude is seen differently. The decisive factor is the discovery of economic cycles by Juglar.

One speaks also of general Juglar cycles or Juglar waves. The economist Joseph Schumpeter called alongside two other cycle lengths about the seven-year economic cycles Juglar.
