Cleomenes II

Cleomenes II was a king of Sparta from the House of Agiaden. He was the son Cleombrotus ' I and succeeded his brother Agesipolis ' II, because this left no descendants. His sons were Akrotatos and Cleonymus. Since the older Akrotatos died before his son Cleomenes was Areus next king.

From Cleomenes 61 years years in power no activities are known. Gyrtias that is mentioned by Plutarch, was either his mother or mother in law.
