Clevo

Clevo Co. (Chinese蓝天 电脑, Pinyin Lán Tian Diànnǎo, Blue Sky Computer ', Taipei stock exchange No 2362 ) is a company based in Taiwan notebook makers. The company was founded in 1983 and has approximately 1,500 employees. Since 1997, the shares are traded on the stock market in Taipei.

• Clevo ( ODM for notebooks)
• Chicony ( keyboards )
• Hipro ( Power Supplies)
• Buynow (department stores in China)

Besides conventional notebook Clevo also manufactures high-performance notebooks (so called mobile workstations).

In addition to Dell and HP Clevo is one of the few notebook manufacturers that also offer specialized graphics solutions for CAD field, such as the mobile Nvidia Quadro FX graphics cards to support professional CAD software.

Clevo derives its products exclusively through a few distributors (eg TRONIC5 Holding GmbH, Sager Notebook Computer ) continue to OEMs (eg Schenker Technologies). In contrast to the conventional retail thereby lends itself to the end user the ability to select a technically customized configuration.

By 2006 the production for Alienware took place at Clevo, which was relocated to the company's acquisition by Dell to Quanta.
