Cliodynamics

Kliodynamik (derived from Clio, the Muse of history ) is a new multidisciplinary research approach to model mathematically historical developments. The Kliodynamik explores dynamic processes in history. Points of contact there is the coined by Nikolai Kondratiev, Joseph A. Schumpeter and Ernest Mandel 's theory of long waves of economic history.

Mathematically modeled long-term ( " secular " ) cycles of socio-demographic dynamics and very long-term ( "a thousand years " ) trends in the world system.
