Clive Russell

Clive Russell ( born December 7, 1945 in Reeth, Yorkshire Dales, England) is a Scottish actor.

Life

Russell was born in Reeth, England and grew up in Fife, Scotland. As an actor, Russell had appeared in numerous British television productions and television series, often produced by the BBC, including Monarch of the Glen, Waking the Dead - On behalf of the dead, court Silent Witness and Spaced. From 2005 to 2006 he played the role of Phil Neil in Coronation Street.

In addition to television, he worked as an actor in various films. In 1995 he played in the end of all dreams besides Helena Bonham Carter the male lead. Other films in which he was to see are The 13th Warrior (1999), Ladies in Lavender (2004), Sherlock Holmes (2009) and The Wolfman (2010).

Russell lives in Hither Green, London.
