Schönflossenbärbling ( Rasbora kalochroma )

The Schönflossenbärbling ( Rasbora kalochroma (Gr. / Lat. " Kalos " = beautiful, " Chroma " = color) ) is a small freshwater fish, which occurs in Southeast Asia on the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and South Kalimantan.

Features

The Schönflossenbärbling has an elongated, torpedo-shaped and laterally strongly flattened body. It reaches a maximum length of from 8 to 10 cm. The basic color is reddish, the back brownish.
