Club de Fútbol Aurrerá

The club Aurrera was a Mexican football club from Mexico City who participated in the six seasons between 1923/24 and 1928 /29 in the capital League and had already reached the fourth place in his first season, 1923/24, his best result.

The club moved to its new name from the factory, on which there was also a sports court. On this hunted soccer-loving factory worker since about 1918 the round leather afterwards. For this bustle arose in 1919 a football club, whose team mainly consisted of Basques, who worked in the factory, led by the brothers Goyarzu. 1924 was engaged as trainer with Percy Clifford perhaps the most significant football pioneer Mexico.

Shortly before the dissolution of the Association at the beginning of the 1930s played with Luis de la Fuente temporarily one of the greatest talents of the Mexican football in the ranks of Aurrera.
