The Boucs de Megève (official name: Club des Sports de Megève ) is a French ice hockey team from Megève, which was founded in 1923.

History

The club was founded in 1923 by Jean Motte, but only officially registered on 17 July 1931. The team played in the 1950s regularly in the highest French Hockey League. The biggest success in club history was winning the French league title in the 1983 season / 84th For the 1986/87 season, the professional department merged with the neighboring Sporting Hockey Club Saint Gervais. As a result of the cooperation of the Mont- Blanc HC was born. Due to financial problems of the Mont- Blanc HC occurred Megève and Saint Gervais from 1989 again with separate professional teams to before 2002, the project is Mont- Blanc HC rebooted. Since the re- merger of the professional department Megève has only a junior section.
