CNN Heroes

CNN Heroes: An All- Star Tribute ( German: CNN Heroes: a tribute ) is a television program on CNN. The aim of the program is to honor people who make outstanding contributions in the field of humanitarian aid. The show will be hosted by Anderson Cooper, the show launched in 2007. Winners will be announced in shipments at year end. In the course of a year, viewers can nominate heroes and vote for them.

The top ten CNN Heroes of 2011 ( in alphabetical order):
