Wool hair ( pili Lanei ) are a hair style in mammals.

Wool fibers are thin, curled and have no hair marks. The closely related to each other wool fibers surrounded as secondary hair the actual hair coat (primary hair). They form the undercoat ( undercoat ), which is primarily in the service of heat insulation. Wool hairs each have only a sebaceous gland and no Haarbalgmuskel. They correspond largely to the vellus of man.
