Colin Beardsmore

Colin Beardmore ( born February 7, 1978 in Peterborough, Ontario ) is a German - Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

The left winger, who was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1996 in the seventh round as the 189th overall by the Detroit Red Wings, his professional career began in 1995 in the Ontario Hockey League with the Detroit Whalers. Even during the 1995/96 season he moved to the North Bay Centennials, and the next season ended the Canadians do not at the same club since he moved to the Owen Sound Platers after 40 games. After the 1997/98 season Beardmore was hired by the Adirondack Red Wings, the farm team of his Draft Clubs Detroit in the American Hockey League, where later in the season he also played for the Toledo Storm in the East Coast Hockey League.
