Colin Patterson (biologist)

Colin Patterson ( born October 13, 1933, Hammersmith; † 9 March 1998 in London ) was a British vertebrate paleontologist.

Patterson was the Senior Paleontologist at the British Museum of Natural History. He dealt in particular with fossil fish and the use of methods of cladistics in paleontology.
