Colonia Aurora
Colonia Aurora is a small town with about 9000 inhabitants in the northeast of Argentina. It is located in the municipality of Veinticinco de Mayo in the province of Misiones. The place is a 2nd class municipality.
Colonia Aurora was founded in 1959 and was one of the last colonized areas in Misiones. The city was to achieve a long time just across the Río Uruguay or an unpaved country road, since 1999, the Ruta Provincial N º 2 is paved.
As in Colonia Aurora is heavily agricultural: Main sources of income of the residents are of growing tobacco, soybeans, Mate and pineapple.
