The Colonial Bank was a bank headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, and 346 stores in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Nevada and Texas.

On 14 August 2009, the bank ran in the wake of the global financial crisis in trouble, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, they turned out in receivership and sold most of the assets to competitors BB & T.
