Colour Haze
Colour Haze is a German Stoner and Psychedelic rock band.
Founded in 1994, in 1999 resulted in the today current band line-up with Stefan Koglek (vocals / guitar), Manfred Merwald (drums ) and Philipp Rasthofer ( bass).
Initially strong Black Sabbath influences took especially with the 1999 album from Periscope in favor of a distinctive dry, bass-heavy sound image. Characteristic acts Kogleks guitar game that converts between warm, trance -heavy melodies and deeply distorted Riffparts. With the albums Eternal Flower power and Los Sounds de Krauts, the band developed their style with more complex song structures, jazz elements and increasing Jamparts continuously. Result was partly 20-minute songs, which the climax can be found on the self-titled album released in 2004. On the follow-up LP Temple, however, the three Munich break with these over-long, epoch-making structures and focus, also viewed temporally, to more complex arrangements, which in turn are even more jazzy interspersed, some even have world music features. Also Kogleks singing, acting strongly withdrawn and more as an additional pure melody instrument, gaining complexity and variability.
