Comayagua Department

Comayagua is one of the 18 departments in Honduras in Central America.

The capital of the department is the city of Comayagua, which was also the capital of Honduras until 1880.

In Comayagua is the U.S. military base Palmerola Air Base, which is one of the largest in Central America.
