Commission for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense

The Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (Chinese国防 科学 技术 工业 委员会, Commission for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, COSTIND ) is a Chinese authority that was passed at the same time by the State Council and the Central Military Commission and as a single ministry work. This Commission was established on 10 May 1982 and abolished in 2008, and by the国家 国防 科技 工业 局, Guofang Keji guojia Gongye jú ( State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, SASTIND ), a division of工业 和 信息 化 部, Gongye Hé Xìnxīhuàbù (Ministry of Industry and information Technology, MIIT ), replaced.
