Committee of Relatives of the Disappeared in Honduras

The Comité de familiares de Desaparecidos en Honduras Detenidos (short COFADEH and Spanish for Committee of Relatives of the Disappeared in Honduras arrested ) is a human rights organization in Honduras. It was in 1982 by Berta Oliva, who also holds the presidency, and founded several other relatives of the disappeared and is headquartered in Tegucigalpa.

Purpose of the organization is to provide help for people who were deported to Honduras by security forces, and their families.

The organization was repeatedly the target of attacks. So tear gas was used against the office and sent death threats. Partial members of COFADEH have had to hide ..
