Communion of saints

The communion of saints called in Christianity the communion of all the baptized. Against the background of eschatological belief in the eternal life after death, this community includes not only the currently living, but also the deceased Christians and - according to recent theological reflection - possibly also " all people of good will."

The term communion of saints takes the Credo in the paragraph about the Holy Spirit a place directly related to the commitment to the faith of the Church (not in the church! ) One.

Not really is the frequent assumption that, with the communion of saints, only the group of canonized is meant.
