Communist League of Great Britain

The Communist League of Great Britain ( Communist League of Great Britain) is an "anti - revisionist " group in the UK.

Its origins lie in the Communist Party of Great Britain, in which formed a Maoist- anti-Soviet faction. Excluded CP members founded 1963, the Maoist " Committee for the conquest of revisionism, for the unity of communists", which had in its heyday, between February 1964 and February 1965 party organizations in major British cities, public meetings held and Marxist literature (including the works of Communist Party of China and the Party of Labour of Albania ) distribution. The leadership of this committee held Mike McCreery.

After his death, the committee broke apart quickly. In view of the majority of the " committee" members formed new and made in September 1965, the " Action Alliance for the Marxist-Leninist unity." This " Coalition for Action" published in November of the same year the institution "Hammer or Anvil ", the inventor, the (then) Communist Party member Bill Bland cooperated. 1967 this organization was renamed the " Marxist- Leninist organization in Britain ' ( MLOB ), Chairman, Bill Bland (up to 1974).

A short time later, the MLOB their support for China and assisted Albania leader Enver Hoxha, although this time was allied more with Beijing: " ... in January 1968, published, Marxist-Leninist Organisation of Britain ' ( MLOB ) a report on the situation the People's Republic of China. The basic features of this report consisted in the characterization of the 'Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution ' as counter-revolutionary and the Mao Zedong - Ideas ' as reactionary and revisionist. "

In 1975, the Communist League of Great Britain was founded as a successor organization to the MLOB. Leading figure in this group was also Bland. Their ideological position was strengthened by the Sino- Albanian break 1978. By 1990 she was in solidarity with the Socialist People's Republic of Albania.

The Communist League of Great Britain is active to this day, but lost after Bland's death (2001) somewhat important. As an "anti- revisionist " group she represents Stalinist and " hoxhaistische " positions and also acts in British society with Stalin.
