The Compagnie des Transports Publics du Littoral Neuchâtelois, abbreviated TN, officially Compagnie des Transports en commun de Neuchâtel et environs, the transport company of the Swiss city of Neuchâtel on Lake Neuchâtel and the surrounding area was. The company's original name was Compagnie des Tramways de Neuchâtel. On May 23, 2012, the company merged with the TRN SA to the Transports Publics Neuchâtelois SA. The new company will operate under the logo of TRANSN and has the official initials TRN.

History

The transport company was created in 1901 from a merger of the company founded in 1892 Régional Neuchâtel Boudry Cortaillod (NCB ) with the Tramway founded in 1893 Neuchâtel- Saint- Blaise ( NSB).

On their bus routes, the TN transported around 6.1 million passengers annually while consuming 700,000 liters of diesel, which corresponds to an emission of 1,900 tons of carbon dioxide. Funiculars
