Concots

Concots is a commune in the department of Lot in the Midi-Pyrénées region. The 423 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) counting place is in the territory of the Regional Natural Park of Causses du Quercy. By Concots leads the Cele - variant of the French Road to Santiago Via Podiensis. This variant is referred to as GR 651.

Geography

Concots is located on the southwestern edge of the Massif Central in the area of ​​the regional natural park of the Causses du Quercy south of the Lot. The nearest town is Cahors, which can be reached in a westerly direction across the D911 by about 25 kilometers of road. The next major French cities are Toulouse (90 km ) to the south, Bordeaux (184 km) to the northwest and Montpellier (199 km) to the southeast.
