The eye ring Warbler ( Oporornis agilis ) is a small bird of the family Warbler ( Parulidae ). He is next to the Kentucky Warbler ( Oporornis formosus ), the Grey-headed Warbler ( Oporornis philadelphia ) and the thicket warbler ( Oporornis tolmiei ) the fourth type in the genus Oporornis.

The eye ring Warbler has an olive top feathers and a dull yellow underside plumage. In the males of the head, throat and upper chest area is gray; in the female these places are brownish. To the eye they wear a white eye ring and their beaks are thin and pointed. Her legs have a slight pink hue.

They feed mainly on insects. Rarely berries and seeds are included.

The cup-shaped nest is built on the ground or close to the ground in a bush or shrub. As nesting material grasses, leaves and other plant fibers are used. A clutch consists of four to five white brown speckled eggs.

Of about 14 centimeters was named large shy bird with the English name Connecticut Warbler after the place of its discovery in Connecticut. However, it is rarely seen during the hike in Connecticut. The distribution area in the breeding season extends from southern Canada through North America to Central America.
