Coppa delle Alpi

The Alpine Cup (Italian Coppa delle Alpi ) was a football tournament, which was initiated by the Italian Football Federation. The competition was held from 1960 to 1987. From 1988 to 1994, an unofficial successor competition under the name of Memorial Pier Cesare Baretti was discharged.

Coppa delle Alpi (1962-1987)

In the first two years of the Cup was a competition for national teams. Starting in 1962, then played with even teams from Italy, Germany, Switzerland and France. Between 1972 and 1987 only attended clubs from France and Switzerland.

Memorial Pier Cesare Baretti (1988-1994)

This competition was also known as Torneo di Saint Vincent and held in the Aosta Valley (Italy). The limitation in the participating nations of the predecessor have been lifted. So also grew, in 1991 the Czech Republic participated in the competition.
