Corinne Hermès

Corinne Hermès ( born November 16, 1961, born Corinne Miller ) is a French singer. In the German-speaking world it was known in 1983 by winning the Euro Vision Song Contest.

Hermès published in 1979 under her birth name of their debut single La ville où ever vis. Was composed the song by Jean -Pierre Millers.

Miller was also responsible for the greatest success of her career. In 1983 she was invited by the Luxembourg broadcaster RTL, to represent the country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1983 in Munich. In the competition, she sat down with the title Si la vie est cadeau (Text: Alain Garcia, music by Jean -Pierre Millers ) with six points ahead of second-placed by Ofra Haza and took the fifth and so far last victory of Luxembourg.

Only in her home country she was able to build on this success and placed to 1989 two more singles in the charts.

In 2001, she was again related to the Euro Vision Song Contest in front of the camera, as she presented the result of the French televoting during the transfer from Copenhagen.

Was published in 2006 after 13 years break records a new CD from her. It bears the title Vraie and contains nothing but original compositions.
