Cornelis H. A. Koster

Cornelis Antonius Hermanns " Kees " Koster (* July 13, 1943, † March 21, 2013 ) was a Dutch computer scientist and doyen of compiler construction and programming language in the computer science and linguist. 1977 Koster was developed by the Technical University of Berlin, where he ( computer science ), the Working Group had conducted at the Department of Software Engineering 20, was appointed to the University of Nijmegen. Life

Koster attended primary school in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the build phase of the Department of Cybernetics / computer science at the TU Berlin Koster led from 1972 to 1976 together with Bleicke Eggers the field programming languages ​​and compilers.
