Corona México 200

Telcel - Motorola México 200 (2007)

The Corona México 200 was organized by NASCAR Mexico car race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, which between 2005 and 2008 Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on in Mexico City, Mexico, took place.

Background for this race in Mexico was the strategy on the part of NASCAR, touring car racing and NASCAR and their Mexican racing series in particular in Mexico to make popular. Instead of Corona México 200, the U.S. Cellular 250 stepped on the Iowa Speedway, which was held for the first time in the 2009 season.

2005: Telcel - Motorola 200 presented by Banamex

In 2005, the race first took place. Many Mexican racing driver took the opportunity to get to know a good reputation in the United States. Some of these drivers were Adrian Fernández, Mara Reyes (a woman ), Carlos Contreras, Michel Jourdain Jr. and Jorge Goeters, who started the race from pole position. 2006: Telcel - Motorola 200

2007: Telcel - Motorola Mexico 200 presented by Banamex

The Telcel - Motorola Mexico 200 presented by Banamex, which took place on March 4, was the third race of the 2007 season. Was with almost as great excitement as the first race in Mexico in 2005, as it is the first road course race for Juan Pablo Montoya was, since he moved to NASCAR.
