History
In September 1542 named Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo, the islands Islas Desiertas (Eng. " deserted islands "). Sebastián Vizcaíno in 1602 changed the name to the island in Cuatro Coronados.
Flora and Fauna
On the islands of Coronado Coronado Norte and Sur grow dahlias, several species of cactus, cucumber and Hauswurz. In addition, living on the islands small colonies of seagulls, pelicans and ducks. Some rare reptiles and amphibians are located here.
