Coronel Pringles
Coronel Pringles is a small town in eastern Argentina. The capital of the Partido Coronel Pringles is located in the south of the province of Buenos Aires and has 23,794 inhabitants (2001, INDEC ).
Location
The city is located about 500 kilometers southwest of the capital, Buenos Aires and about 100 kilometers northeast of Bahia Blanca.
Name of the city
The city was named after the Coronel ( Colonel ) Juan Pascual Pringles ( 1795-1831 ) appointed who fought under the General San Martín in the Argentine War of Independence.
