Cory Higgins

Cory Higgins ( born June 14, 1989 in Danville, California) is an American professional basketball player.

Career

Higgins played from 2007 to 2011 at the University of Colorado Boulder basketball. After he was able to achieve 8.3 points per game in his first season, he rose again and scored an average of 17.4 points. The next two seasons were similar good. When he signed up for the NBA Draft in 2011 and his last year of college completed, he had scored per game 15.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, among others.

Despite these achievements, he was not selected in the draft, which is why he moved to the Erie BayHawks in the NBA Development League. For the BayHawks, he played a total of five games in which he was able to achieve 12.6 points per game.

He was then appointed to a training camp of the Denver Nuggets. He scored seven points in two games, but was dismissed by the Nuggets again. Two days later, however, he was appointed to the team the Charlotte Bobcats, played in 38 games this season and scored an average of 3.9 points. On December 9, 2012, he was dismissed from the Charlotte Bobcats. In January 2013 he again got a contract with the Erie BayHawks. In October 2013 he signed a one year contract with the Russian triumph Ljuberzy.
