Cosmin Chetroiu

Cosmin Chetroiu ( born March 31, 1987 in Petrosani, Hunedoara County ) is a Romanian luger.

Cosmin Chetroiu lives in Petrila. He toboggan since 2000 and belongs to the Romanian national team in luge since 2003. He goes along with Ionut Taran doubles. Since the season 2005/ 06 the duo in the Luge World Cup takes. In their first season they finished with the 16th rank in Altenberg her best ever result in a World Cup race. In the overall standings, they reached with number 23 also her best previous result. The first major event, which was attended by the double was the Luge Championships 2006 in Winterberg. Here they were ranked number 18 in the doubles competition and ninth place in the team competition. For shortly afterwards held the Olympic Games in Turin they could be 18 again. In the Luge World Cup 2007 in Chetroiu / Taran came at No. 25
