Costa Tropical

The Costa Tropical is a coastal strip in the southern part of the Mediterranean coast of Spain ( province of Granada, Andalusia). Geographically, it coincides with the same Comarca Costa Tropical. It lies on the Mediterranean Sea and is bordered to the west by the Axarquia comarca - Costa del Sol ( Malaga Province ), to the east by the Comarca Poniente almeriense ( Almeria province ).

Geography

Geographically rich on the Costa Tropical, the foothills of the Betic Cordillera ( Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama, Sierra Nevada) directly to the coast, so there is little coastal plains, in which larger settlements have formed.
