Building

Designed by the architectural offices Jodoin, Lamarre, Pratte, & Co and Cayouette & Saia station was built in the form of a tunnel station. While the walls are covered with terracotta tiles, the floors are made of granite and sandstone plates. The staircases to the distribution level are rather narrow and congested during peak hours sometimes. The reason for this is that Côte- Vertu was not foreseen in the original plans as the terminus, a further extension of the line but so far failed to materialize. There are three entry pavilions, which were made from brown bricks.

In 17.7 meters depth, the platform level is with two side platforms. The distance to the neighboring station Du Collège, measured from end station to station beginning, is 777.24 meters. Since 2005, there is a bus station, which is operated by the Agence métropolitaine de transport. The Terminus Côte- Vertu is divided into two parts: In the northern metro output operate 17 bus routes and five night bus lines of the Société de transport de Montréal, at the southern exit of three bus lines of the Société de transport de Laval and an express line from CIT La Presqu'Île.

Art

In connection tunnel above the tracks are two large-scale, mutually complementary murals by Yves Trudeau to find. The work négatif positif consists of chrome steel on wooden fittings and symbolizes rock walls that are exposed through a gap. The ridges on one side of the aisle are reflected in the depressions on the other side - and vice versa. Through both structures, a yellow stripe, an allusion draws on the Ariadne's thread.

In the northernmost entrance pavilion, the installation of L' Homo urbanus is ( " The Man About Town " ) by Éric Lamontagne. This is a mirror, on the - similar to insect collections - photographic images of different individuals were fixed with needles. The figures, viewed from the back, while the faces are to be seen in the reflection.
