Course credit

Credit points (including credits) are in the academic life in some countries, especially in North America, unit sizes, which one acquires after having been performed. They are acquired for successfully attended courses or activities in the university, school or other educational institutions.

The higher the claim or the cost of a course, the more power points are awarded.

When applying for a place of study Credit points are awarded not only for academic achievement, but also on the merits of the common good or the commitment within a school in U.S. schools. The more credits a student has, the higher the award opportunities for a university place.

European universities have started to introduce a European Credit Transfer System for transfers.

A workload of 25-30 hours of work is to be set per power point.
