Courtney Peldon

Courtney Peldon ( born April 13, 1981 in New York City, New York ) is an American actress.

Life

Peldon began her career in 1986 as a child actress with a guest role in an episode of Ellen Burstyn Show. In 1989, she starred in the pilot episode for the planned but never implemented television adaptation of the feature film The Night of Adventure in the role of Sara Anderson, who was portrayed in the film by Maia Brewton. In the same year she celebrated than eight years of her Broadway debut. She starred in the musical Meet Me in St. Louis at the side of Betty Garrett and Milo O'Shea in 252 performances at the Gershwin Theatre, the role of Tootie. Then they played 1991-1992 a recurring guest role on the sitcom Harry and the Hendersons, which was based on the eponymous feature film. Made her feature film debut, she had 1992 in the comedy A Limb opposite Matthew Broderick. For this she received in 1993 her first of three awards at the Young Artist Awards. Another award she received in 1994 for a guest appearance in the series Superman - Lois & Clark. Between 1996 and 1998 she starred in the sitcom Listen, who as hammering the girlfriend of Randy, the son of self-proclaimed " King DIY " Tim Taylor, for which she was awarded the third Young Artist Award.

In the following years she played guest roles in series such as The Pretender, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The wild seventies and was in some TV movies as well as a small supporting role in the feature film Without words to see. In seasons three and four of the series Boston Public, she had again a recurring guest role. Between 2005 and 2006 she worked as a voice and spoke several roles in the Disney animated series Kuzco 's royal class as well as a guest role in Witch. From 2008 to 2011 she worked behind the camera as a casting associate for the reality show Millionaire Matchmaker.

Peldon is married and has no children. Her younger sister Ashley is also an actress.
