Craig G. Rogers

Craig G. Rogers ( born May 26, 1971) is an American urologist and director of the Vattikuti Urology Institute Nephrochirurgie at the Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan in the United States.

Rogers is surgery ( Da Vinci laparoscopy) known, especially in the field of renal surgery for innovative minimally invasive robotic assisted. He performed the first robot -assisted surgery of the kidney with ultrasound probe and one of the first nanoknife operations, as well as robot -assisted single-port kidney surgeries in patients with malignant renal tumor. On February 9, 2009, he performed the first twittered operation.

Rogers completed his medical studies at Stanford and his professional training as a urologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital. After a Fellowship in the field of urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute, he became director of the Vattikuti Urology Institute Nephrochirurgie. He works with Mani Menon, Director of Vattikuti Urology Institute, together.
