Crèvecœur-le-Grand

Crèvecœur -le- Grand is a commune with 3441 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Oise in the Picardie region. She is assigned to the capital of the canton Crèvecœur -le- Grand and the district Beauvais.

Crèvecœur -le- Grand maintains a city partnership with the Palatine community Obrigheim.

The village was formerly connected at two different French local railways: called from 1877 to shut down in 1939, Compagnie des chemins de fer du Nord, just north runway, and from 1906 to 1953 at the Ligne Estrées -Saint -Denis- Froissy - Crèvecœur - le -Grand. Today, the connection to the wide area network is ensured by the about 10 km east extending Autoroute A16.
