Cristian Bud

Cristian Bud ( born June 26, 1985 in Baia Mare, Maramureş County ) is a Romanian football player. The striker played a total of 100 games in the Romanian League 1 Since summer 2013 he is at Gaz Metan Medias in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

Bud began playing football at the age of ten years in his home town of Baia Mare FC Baia Mare. In 2005 he moved to Liberty Salonta, which at the time in the second highest Romanian football league, the Divizia B, played. There he first came to only a few appearances in the first team, although they managed to climb at the end of the 2005/06 season in the league 1, but their license sold to UTA Arad and from then on took in the third-class League III. There, Bud got his big breakthrough as a striker. After the subsequent rise, he remained Liberty until the winter break 2008/ 09 loyal, ere he was offered the opportunity to switch to the League 1, in which he Gaz Metan Medias joined.

With Gaz Metan Bud was able to secure the league in the 2008 /09 season. During the winter break of 2009/10 provided for him the opportunity to switch to a Romanian giants, took him as the reigning Cup winner CFR Cluj under contract. There he could win the Cup victory and the championship in the same year. In September 2011 he returned on loan back to Gaz Metan. During the winter break of 2012/13 he returned to Cluj, which agreed a lending transaction with second division side FC Bihor Oradea for the second round. In the summer of 2013 Bud finally moved to Debreceni VSC to Hungary. There, however, he was not used and returned already in August 2013 to return to Romania, where he joined Gaz Metan Medias.
