Cristiano da Silva

Cristiano da Silva ( born January 12, 1987 in Campo Mourão ) is a Brazilian footballer. The midfielder is since 2012 in Austria with FC Red Bull Salzburg under contract.

Career

Cristiano da Silva began in Adap Galo with the club and football in 2005 signed his first professional contract with Coritiba FC. Through various stations he came to CA in 2009 Metropolitano and was awarded from there to Associação Chapecoense and EC Juventude. In October 2011, he completed a trial with FC Red Bull Salzburg coach Ricardo Moniz and was able to convince. For a fee of one million euros, he moved early December 2011 at the Salzburg and signed a contract until the summer of 2015, with the option of a further year. At the Salzburg he wears the number 10 and will take the part as a playmaker.

His first season in Salzburg Cristiano finished with 15 appearances and three goals for the Mozart city dwellers. And a lap later, he scored both goals in the 2-0 home win against FC Admira Wacker Mödling, at the same time he was first champion with a team, as well as cup winners. In September 2012, he was suspended by his club RB Salzburg and passed on to the farm team of the club, the FC Liefering. On 1 January 2013 he was loaned for a year at a Japanese club in the J. League Division 2, the Tochigi SC.
