Cristina Rota

Cristina Rota ( born 1945 in La Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine actress, drama teacher and director who lives in Spain.

Life

Cristina Rota was married to fellow actor Diego Botto and lived with him and their children María Botto Juan Diego Botto and in Argentina. After her husband disappeared during the Dirty War in March 1977 drew the actress with her children in the Spanish capital of Madrid. In 1979, Rota her third child, only Al Levi, to the world and this has been working as an actress.

In Spain, Cristina Rota founded in 1978 a drama school, the Escuela de Interpretación. There, among other things, studied Malena Alterio, Marta Etura, Pilar Castro, Julia Beerhold, Goya Toledo, Romina Espinosa, Penelope Cruz and Secunda de la Rosa. In her work as a drama teacher Rota wrote the 2003 Los primeros pasos published textbook del actor (Eng. The first steps of the actor ).

In 2008, the autobiography of Cristina Rota appeared under the title Los Que Te Recuerdo Diré (Eng. I tell you I remember).
