White eared pheasant
The eared pheasants ( Crossoptilon ) are a genus of the family of pheasant -like. There are a total of four species of this genus. The distribution of all species is largely in China.
Features
Eared pheasants are a genus of relatively large pheasants, whose body is elongated. The legs are short, the tail feathers are like a brush and fairly soft, almost the same hair. The body plumage is predominantly one color. Among the unusual features within the pheasant -like heard that the females do not differ in appearance from the males. Two of the species form of conspicuous ear tufts. The tail feathers consists of twenty to twenty-four tail feathers. The distribution area of each species hardly overlap.
