Crotalus lannomi
Crotalus lannomi is a species of rattlesnakes (Crotalus ), of the date, scientifically known less than ten specimens from western Jalisco, Mexico. The holotype was found dead on the road.
Features
The holotype of Crotalus lannomi had a body length of 64 centimeters, of which 7 centimeters make up the tail. The shape of the snake is stocky with a broad head and a very small tail rattle. The basic color of the snake is gray, it has a row of black spots as drawing pattern.
Distribution and habitat
The first scientifically become known snake of this kind was found dead in the Mexican state of Jalisco, data on the actual distribution area are not available. Since the initial description, only six other copies are known to date. The area is wooded and rocky owns shares.
