Csaba Sógor

Csaba Sógor ( born May 12, 1964 in Arad ) is a Romanian politician of Hungarian minority ( UDMR ).

Sógor laid aside theological studies at the Universities of Zurich and Basel, the Protestant Theological Institute Sibiu and the Protestant theology with university degrees in Cluj. He attended a course of LEAD Europe at Imperial College London and a course at the School of Politics Ovidiu Şincai.

Sógor in Romania since 1990, member of the Democratic Union of Hungarians. He was Reformed pastor in the Reformed church Ciceu Harghita county and ecumenical advisor and consultant for external relations in the Reformed Diocese of Piatra Craiului for. From 2000 to 2007 he was a member of the Romanian Senate since he belongs to the European Parliament.
