Cuba national baseball team

The Cuban Baseball National Team represented the national team of Cuba in baseball. It consists exclusively of amateur players, as it is provided in the current Cuban system. Professional teams or leagues there is not therefore.

The Cuban National Team participated in all Olympic Summer Games since 1992 in part. It was the most successful team since that time. The Cuban team won the gold medal three times and zweinmal silver. In March 2006, the Cuban national team reached the finals in the World Baseball Classic. There they lost to Japan with 10:6.
