Culuene River

( Also written Kuluene ) The Rio Culuene is one of the two source rivers of the Xingu River in the state of Mato Grosso in Brazil. It rises about 250 km east-northeast of the city of Cuiabá and flows predominantly in a northerly direction in the Xingu National Park, where he managed the Rio Xingu, together with the Rio Ronuro.

At Rio Culuene and its tributaries were numerous pre-Columbian settlements, and even today there are villages in the Xingu Indians.
